# 111.Minimum Depth of Binary Tree

**111.Minimum Depth of Binary Tree**

难度:Easy

> 给定一个二叉树，找出其最小深度。

最小深度是从根节点到最近叶子节点的最短路径上的节点数量。

说明: 叶子节点是指没有子节点的节点。

示例:

```
给定二叉树 [3,9,20,null,null,15,7],
    3
   / \
  9  20
    /  \
   15   7
返回它的最小深度  2.
```

方法:简单递归，代码如下:

```
/**
 * Definition for a binary tree node.
 * struct TreeNode {
 *     int val;
 *     TreeNode *left;
 *     TreeNode *right;
 *     TreeNode(int x) : val(x), left(NULL), right(NULL) {}
 * };
 */
class Solution {
public:
    int minDepth(TreeNode* root) {
        if(!root) return 0;
        if(!root->left && !root->right) return 1;
        if(!root->left) return 1+minDepth(root->right);
        if(!root->right) return 1+minDepth(root->left);
        return min(minDepth(root->left)+1,minDepth(root->right)+1);
    }
};
```

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://dfine.gitbook.io/leetcode/111.minimum_depth_of_binary_tree.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
